The 10thousandgirl campaign aims to bring finance to life for 10,000 young women around Australia and set a ripple effect in motion to raise $1 million towards a microfinance program to help women globally.

 

The campaign's goal is to start conversations around finance and to encourage girls to put a good plan into action. It gives girls the motivation and tools to map out their life goals and take the first steps towards their long term saving and investing goals.

 

It aims to inspire a ripple effect; when a girl knows where she is heading and how to get there, she is able to encourage those around her. The campaign has partnered with Opportunity International Australia to ensure that the ripple effect will impact globally, providing microfinance loans and business education to women in developing countries to launch their own businesses.
